摘要

  • Enactment
    • What it is
      • Symbolic interactions between analyst and patients which have unconscious meaning to both
      • Result from the patient’s attempt to create an interactional representation of a wished-for object relations
      • Nonverbal communication with unconscious clues
        • only a more primitive channel, not necessarily preverbal period
      • A realization of the patient’s transference fantasies
      • A concrete shared regressive experience beyond words
      • A link between current and past experiences
    • What it means
      • Not beneficial to the patient itself
      • Yet lead to affects that can enrich the analytic process
      • With the observation, description and eventual understanding
        • transferential meaning
        • the content of the fantasy, memory, or impulse
      • The analyst as a participant
        • Not always happen
    • Clinical situation
      • We must contain ourselves yet still experience the impulse to action
      • Sometimes enactment first, and then understanding is more useful
    • After the enactment
      • The patient
        • Reemerge later in another form
      • The analyst
        • Continue to interpret the seemingly unconscious connections
        • Share the understanding
